The Court Services Division is responsible for courtroom security and staff safety when Vernon County Circuit Court is in session.    The officers also assist any circuit judges and the Clerk of Court as may be needed.  Secondary duties include the crossing over to the patrol division as needed and the general security of the Courthouse campus and its buildings.
